Dear friends! We continue to acquaint you with the collection of photo materials of the National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”. Today we dedicate them to the restoration of the monument to Prince Kostiantyn Oleksandrovych Ypsilanti (1760-1816), in particular, the unveiling of the memorial that took place on June 29, 1997. The event was attended by the numerous honored guests, including the members of the All-Greek Union of Pontic Officers named after Oleksandr Ypsilanti, who initiated the restoration of the tombstone. The festivities began with a prayer, which was served by both the Lavra’s Brethren and representatives of the Hellenic Orthodox Church.
