Based on the results of the cooperation between the National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” and the experts of the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative, the specialists in crate building and fine arts shipping Chris Barber and Ashley McGrew presented drawings to build protective packaging (crates) for unique monumental slate slabs with relief compositions of the 11^th century from the collection of the Preserve.
